BBC iPlayer USA – I’m Afraid Not. I noticed this after moving to North Carolina for a few months with work, it was great I could watch Hulu and Pandora online in the USA. However my favourite UK TV channels were not available outside the UK and there was no BBC iPlayer USA apart from some cut down global version which was quite expensive .
If you find your iPlayer still has the issue you can apply this fix manually as follows: Move to the iPlayer app so it's highlighted in the Roku Home screen. Press the asterisk button on the Roku remote to display a BBC iPlayer menu and then find 'Check for Updates' and select this then click Ok. I have searched the web and read mainly about folks that live outside of the USA wanting USA programming ( mainly Netflix ), but I am residing in the USA with a US Roku wanting some UK programming available to me.
